Tahoe

I spent a wonderful 4 days in Tahoe over MLK Weekend. It took us 7 hours to get up there, but worth every minute waiting in traffic (and we hit none on the way home). I decided to take a skiing lesson my first day and it was the best $80 for lesson, lift ticket, and rentals, that I ever spent. My teacher was great and I had a wonderful time after that. Luke, Adam, Prabath and I all went out the second day as well. Despite a early set back due to an overestimation of my skill and confidence level, I went back to some easier slopes in the afternoon and had a blast.
Tahoe itself was cold (-5 - 20), but beautiful, and I'd love to go back.
I had time to get some knitting in, making progress on my "muppet scarf" and reknitting my dark red and gold scarf (pics will follow on Sat).
Two final pics of the hardcore snow-goers and further proof that snow clothing (especially the jacket I inherited from an old high school bfriend) is super hawt.
