My dept chair just came into the office I'm using this summer, introduced himself, and asked how I know MC (my former advisor). He didn't recognize me at all :) I reminded him of who I am and he said, "ok, well welcome, do you know where MC is?"
Bizarre.
Why am I not surprised.
