Experiments

I'm on my final day in PHX with my mom, soon to be back in S to the C. It's been a wonderful to spend some one-on-one girl time with her and I'm very glad I made the decision to come and visit. She's still healing from a recent operation, but was able to keep up with me all day long. WE spent a lot of time talking, walking, cooking, and eating. She also treated me to a facial - something I never understood spending money on until I got one. I think I'm more of a massage girl on the whole, but I never knew my skin could feel so soft or so smooth.*

Before heading out to visit my mom, I stopped into our local beauty school to get my hair trimmed. While there, I was inspired to change things up a bit. It's an experiment, and I'm still adjusting to myself, but I think I like it. So here's preview, more to come:


This was inspired by the positive feedback I got while wearing a Bettie Page wig to a recent Rocky show. I think I need to invest in some cute bandanas, barrettes, and pin-up clothing.


*In an ideal world in which I could spend money on massages or facials...
