I'll be hiking and sleeping in the semi-wilderness this weekend with a bunch of astro grads and post-docs from UCSC, Cal, and Stanford.
Upon return, I'm going to try to keep the woe-is-me posts to a minimum. More crafting, baking, and maybe even some foxy ladies.
Until then, good luck and good travels to kungfuramone, who leaves for Paris tomorrow.
For locals who read my blog, especially So Cal natives, I finally found an excellent taco place: Los Pericos on Water St. Best carne asada I've been able to find here, everything is cooked and made fresh, and I had the most flavorful burrito I've had in 3 years. I can't believe it took me this long to find this place.
Los Pericos also has some of the best chile verde I have had in Santa Cruz, too.
