Proud Daughter

My mom is an artist. She's not a professional, although I think she could have been had her life gone differently, and she may be in the future. She's been going through some rough times in the recent past and hasn't been able to produce a piece in 2 years. This fall, she decided to set the goal of making a piece and submitting for a competition just to see if she could. Not only was she able to submit, but she won first place in the adult category! If you scroll down to the adult category hers is the paining of the desert hare and cactus. I know I'm her daughter and I'm totally biased, but I'm very proud of her and absolutely love her work.
