I'm actually getting this thing worked on

My research is going well. I am absolutely going to be able to look at everything I determined that I need to see (except for one book that is on display and they won't take down for me no matter how nice I ask). I'm kind of... surprised. This whole setting a goal and actually accomplishing it in a timely fashion is not common for grad school. And by timely I mean early! I have time to go to the prints and drawings room of the British Museum and the equivalent at the Tate! Of course now I have to go back and start putting all of this into a coherent narrative, but it feels possible. I have changes to make, but that's ok. Check in again with me in March I may have run away to Los Cabos, but from where I'm sitting right now it looks do-able. This is a good place to be.

I'm off to a seminar tonight and then the British Museum tomorrow. Once I get photos stay tuned for a London fashion post.
