4 down, 1 to go

It's been a shitty week at chez IrishRed, but today I've made it all day without crying, so it's a win! (just don't ask me about my dissertation).

Interview invitations for my 4th school were posted today, again I am holding an unpunched dance card. I have one more I'm waiting to hear from, but not holding my breath.

In happier news, we have close friends coming into town and Im running another 1/2 marathon on Sunday. It's going to be freakin' cold at the start (high 30s?). Yeah, I don't really have gear for that. But capris + smartwool ski socks = running tights :) I haven't been able to run much in the past month as I've had to take time off to allow the tendonitis in my knees to go down. I'm anticipating this run to be much slower than the last one, but hopefully slower will also mean easier on the knees and allow me to avoid runner's stomach (feels like a hangover for hours after you run).
