Photo evidence

I took these last night in a moment of frustrated desperation that *could not wait* until Luke finished his game of supernintendo basketball. hence, the mirror:

The front view really captures the combined lab coat crossed with Grandma's sweater stylin'. Waist? Who needs a waist? Figure-flattering clothing is for suckers.

With this one, on the other hand, you can easily see the "armpit bigger than my boob" problem, crossed with the pockets located around crotch level.

I've ripped and I'm starting again, but not tonight. I've decided to take out 2 inches in length in the body and an extra 2-3 will come out of the top half when I decide to follow the directions for the bigger size.

  1. Oh dear, it looks like something I'd wear, the way it fits ;-)

  2. Oh, I'm so sorry! It's super frustrating when you put all that work into something and then it doesn't work the way it should. I'm sorry I'm not there to help you... but I'm not sure it I would be able to help you with sizing much anyway. I'm not that experienced when it comes to knitting sweaters. Speaking of sweater sizing, have you seen a book called Fitted Knits? I'm not sure if you'd be into the patterns, but the intro talks quite a bit about adjusting patterns to fit chest/waist/hip measurements.

By the way, happy New Years! I miss you.
