Luke's away at a conference . He's roughing it in a beautiful resort in Yosemite. On the down side, I'm jealous and wish I was with him exploring the park. On the upside, I get the house to myself.
And what do I get to do tonight, here, all by myself??? Study for German! Man, my life is so exciting, sometimes I can barely contain myself.
Ok, back to the subjunctive. Ich kann Deutsch.
In some good news, (Chris, pay attention) I found a summer program in German at UC Berkeley, 3 days a week, 2 hours in the morning, German readings class designed to improve comprehension and quote: "for graduates preparing for reading examinations". Best part (how sad this is the best part...) it's only $800, so there would be time to say, get a job and have some income in addition to learning the German.
So, if I don't get the $$ needed to study in Germany, or here for that matter, this one would be doable, and hopefully prepare me for what I need.
