Thanksgiving win. Recipe blog fail.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, leftovers and all. I had ambitious blogger-dreams of photo documenting my cooking and posting a step by step guide to my two favorite recipes... a dream that dissipated as I realized I have photos of the component parts but not of the final products. Oh well, there's always next year.

I've been trying to eat my way out of the fridge in the run up to our move on Sat. This means I've eaten stuffing with pumpkin or green beans as lunch and/or dinner for the last several days. Although stuffing is never not a good thing to eat, leftover stuffing by yourself is not nearly as enjoyable as the stuffing you've snatched from the fridge before your younger sister was able to get to it.

And in case Thanksgiving wasn't enough, Hanukkah starts tonight. My menorah is packed, I'm not making latkes. Maybe I'll have a donut tomorrow morning for breakfast.  At least it runs several days so maybe L and i can do something small in our new house.

Speaking of new house, I'm betting that this blog will be pretty quiet for the next week or two. I've got a lot going on here and it's just not really on my mind. So happy Thanksgiving (belated) and Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate. Perhaps the next time you hear from me I'll be blogging from the desert.
