Another One BItes the Dust

If I believed in a deity/Higher Power or any sort, I'd think they were trying to tell me to put down the knitting and find another hobby. Prior to Thanksgiving I finished my Cherie Amour sweater and only had the seaming and blocking to finish: a perfect project for the 2.5 hour drive to SLO. Brining out my knitting in the car I got my first good long look at the fabric in the light of day (I normally knit at night in artificial light):

For those non-craft types, you may notice that the yarn changes from a brownish hued red to a purple-hued burgundy. Yeah, it's all supposed to be the brownish-red color. I ordered 5 balls of yarn and 2 were shipped in the wrong color. Thankfully, handpaintedyarns has been incredibly generous and understanding and are replacing all 5 skeins - but it's of another dye lot, so I cant just take out the purple stuff and add to the red I already have, I have to reknit the whole thing. At least I don't have to worry about what I'm going to knit over winter break. On the up side, I now have 5 balls of yarn I didn't expect to. I'm going to try to turn them into a shrug and a hat.
